I Have Found Poetry

Left alone to fend for myself,

I seek an alternative just so I wouldn't melt.

I found poetry, something so profound,

Giving me some common ground

I found a way to realese those conflicts, that has kept my heart bound

I have found poetry; the origin of my intensity

Undeniable nurturing I've found something that makes me willing

I've found something that's completely filling

I have found poetry:

The harmony within me

The voice within me

The essence within me

The joy fulfilling me

Compelling me to be free,

Yes, poetry does this for me, makes me overwhelmingly free

I have found poetry, words that I know

Words that helps me grow; whispering wisdom

Words that flow,

letters half a dozen P-O-E-T-R-Y
